About Us

Mr. Boman joined Encompass in 2003 shortly after earning his B.B.A. from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Through his asset and property management oversight he prepares budgets, deploys capitol improvement programs, assists clients with financing, and works with maintenance and marketing staff to keep these assets performing. Mr. Boman is also responsible for commercial leasing and has been successful in leasing both retail and office space in the Greater Duluth Area. He has experience working with small local business people or larger multi-national corporations. He also obtained his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 2007. Through 4 weeks of courses, passing a comprehensive exam and putting together an expansive portfolio of leasing experience he joined a small group of leading national commercial real estate executives. Rounding out his education, Mr. Boman also obtained his M.B.A from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2005. In addition, he was also a 4-time letter winner and captain of the UMD Men's Basketball team. He has also held a Minnesota Real Estate Agent's License since 2005.

Mr. Norton joined Encompass in 2016. Prior to joining the Encompass team he worked locally with both small privately held companies as well as large multi-national companies in various sales leadership positions. This experience has prepared him to manage the multitude of tasks that it takes to manage both commercial and residential communities. He received his B.B.A and B.B.S from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2004. He has held a Minnesota Real Estate Agent's License since 2018 and a Minnesota Real Estate Broker's License since 2021. He is currently pursuing his CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation. He has been active in local volunteer & board opportunities most recently with organizations such as the Chester Bowl Capital Campaign, Congdon Park Foundation, and Building Owner Manager Association (BOMA).

Mr. Welles joined Encompass in 1998. He is responsible for our entire accounting function. He has served in numerous roles within both the field and office , which makes him an invaluable resource Mr. Welles has a BA Degree from the University of North Dakota. He has held a Minnesota Real Estate Agent's License since 2002.

Mr. Kirsling joined Encompass in 2013. After holding various positions with other management companies, he started working with us as an Engineer. Since then he has worked his way up to become the Director of Engineering, where he leads the engineering department with all of its employees.

Ms. Knutson joined Encompass in 2011. After working with other tax and payroll service organizations she came to Encompass where she works with accounts receivables, manages the payroll function, and completes the inter-company accounting.

Ms. Nistler joined Encompass in 2012. While Lois provides the administrative function for our company office she has held various field positions within our organization, which include residential leasing and property management.

Ms. Stern joined Encompass in 1998. She has held various field positions within our organization, but currently manages 3 apartment communities that consist of 226 apartments. She has held a Minnesota Real Estate Agent's License since 2011.

Ms. Deloney joined Encompass in 2019. She has worked in leasing and property management with other organizations and currently is a Property Manager with Encompass. She manages 3 apartment communities that consist of 190 apartments. She is also responsible for our social media platform.

Ms. Bergstedt-Jones joined Encompass in 2019. She has worked in leasing and property management with other organizations and currently is a Property Manager with Encompass. She manages 4 apartment communities that consist of 218 apartments.
